BrakeSmart Wiring Harness Hookup Kit (required)

The wiring harness kit contains the pressure transducer, the truck specific master cylinder tee to install the pressure transducer at your tow vehicle's master cylinder, a brake line to help with the installation if needed, the pressure transducer to BrakeSmart wire harness, and the BrakeSmart to tow vehicles trailer brake control wiring harness. These components are necessary because we are introducing a pressure transducer to the tow vehicle brake system in order to feed the BrakeSmart controller data for a smooth and totally proportional trailer brake response.

When Selecting a Harness Kit for Your Tow Vehicle General Rule of Thumb is: Dodge began installing Tow Package in 1997, Chevrolet/GMC & Ford in 1999. Please refer to the Universal Hookup kits if you will be splicing into existing trailer brake wiring on your tow vehicle.
